“Unbroken Thread 紗線綿綿 ” 唐人街女人故事圈系列#1

我們很高興地宣布 「紗線綿綿：唐人街女人圈故事」系列活動將於今年 5 月回歸！
為了回應母親節和五月的 AANHPI 傳統月，我們第一個活動的主題是「女性與母性之間：成就、奮鬥與妥協」。我們鼓勵參與者分享他們作為母親的經歷或他們對沒有孩子的想法的故事。也歡迎參與者前來聆聽並支分享f故事者。講故事環節還將包括一個手工藝工作坊。我們很高興邀請到唐人街花藝設計家Nancy Chan女士，她將帶領所有參與者親手創作一件花藝作品。加入我們的故事圈，讓我們為移民女性創造一個安全、賦權、創意的空間！

We are excited to announce 2024 “Unbroken Thread:” Chinatown Story Series is back this May!
In response to Mother’s Day and May as the AANHPI Heritage Month, the theme of our very first event is “Between Womanhood and Motherhood: Achievement, Struggle, and Compromise.” Participants are encouraged to share their stories about their experiences as being a mother or their thoughts about not having children. Participants are also welcome to come to just listen and support the story-tellers. The story-telling session will also include a craft workshop. We are excited to invite Ms. Nancy Chan, a Chinatown-based floral artist, who will lead all participants to create a floral art piece with their own hands. Join our story circle, and let’s create a safe, empowering, and creative space for immigrant women!
