KAN-WIN IN-KIND DONATION KAN-WIN accepts the following donations: Computer/printers, children’s educational books, school/office supplies, or games, CTA card/bus passes, telephone card, rice, new bed sheets, or toiletries (such as soap, toothpaste, shampoo, facial tissue, body lotion, etc.), and gift certificates to local restaurants, grocery stores, gas station, and department stores. Gift certificates are greatly needed to Jewel, Dominick’s, Target, Best Buy, Walgreens, and Borders! Gently used car donations are welcome. KAN-WIN does not accept used clothing donations at this time. MATCHING GIFTS Many corporations often double or even triple the value of donations!! The process is simple. Please take time to get a matching gift form from a participating company’s human resources department. Send it to KAN-WIN, and we will complete the necessary paperwork. COMMUNITY SHARES Great Opportunity to send your support through small deductions from your payroll! KAN-WIN is a proud member of Community Shares of Illinois. One of the Community Shares award-winning campaigns is the Combined Charities Campaign, which is a coordinated workplace giving program organized to offer employees greater choices when making charitable contributions through payroll deduction at work.
