KAN-WIN is proud to be celebrating 36 years of empowering survivors and fostering safe, healthy communities free from violence. Over the last three decades, we have evolved into a leading agency providing comprehensive care for Asian American survivors of domestic and sexual abuse.
Your generosity goes directly towards equipping survivors with hotel stays, shelter, transportation, rental subsidies, medical & legal expenses, and other essential needs. Contributions from our community make it possible to continue providing the best care possible for our clients. Every action is a testament to the strong network of support for survivors in our community.

Our Program
OUR EMCEE
MIA PARK is a multi-dimensional artist and health care provider based in Chicago. She facilitates a grassroots eco-system of projects that connect people and experiences. Boundless enthusiasm fuels her community engagement as a hospice nurse, actor, taiji and yoga teacher, cultural producer, and professor. Mia is the Executive Director of the not-for-profit group Asian American Arts Chicago, which produces the EVOLUTION Asian American Arts Festival, May 2-3, 2026.
OUR PERFORMER
BEE PARK, also known as COLLECT THE HIVE, is a lightworker; igniting her soul's path while actively burning down facades. She's an intentional healer that does the inner work while tuning into the collective consciousness; spreading awareness of self and connection to everything else. While she considers herself independent from outside control, she has a team of angels, spirit guides, and ancestors that all walk alongside her for guidance and support. COLLECT THE HIVE creates a therapeutic space for honesty, confidence in vulnerability, and restoration of one's inner power. She's undressing layers of masks she's put on, fabricated by her attendance in social programming & the gifts of ancestral trauma. She finds joy in self-expression through the art of creation; using her gifts to help others tap into the infinite fountain of abundance that lies within themselves.
