KAN-WIN과 시카고지역교회협의회 공동 주관으로 성폭력 예방 교사 교육을 진행합니다. '트라우마 이해에 기반한 교사의 역할', '아동 성폭력의 개념과 양상', '관련 법안과 대처방법' 등을 교사로서 학생들을 옹호하고 자신을 지키기 위한 방법들을 배우게 됩니다. 또한, ’아동 학대 의무 신고’에 관해 배움으로, 가정폭력이 자녀에게 미치는 영향을 인식하고, 교사로서 의무 신고자의 역할을 다할 수 있도록 돕고자 합니다. 학생들을 가까이에서 지도하는 교사로서, 예방교육의 이수는 한인 지역 사회를 보다 안전한 공간 으로 세워나가는 발판이 됩니다.
Teachers are invited to join KAN-WIN for sexual violence prevention training, co-organized by The Korean Churches Federation of Greater Chicago. This workshop will provide education on aspects of child sexual violence, learn about survivor's rights, and develop listening skills to advocate for students. In addition, by learning about 'Mandatory Reporting Child Abuse', we will be able to recognize the impact of domestic violence on our children and fulfill the role of mandatory reporter as a teacher. We hope it will be a meaningful time to recognize the importance of creating healthy relationships and safe spaces in the Korean community.
